He was referred and crowned by Russell Peters as his -protege- for their annual Christmas Party inside L’Atilier Lounge in December 2007.  Russell praised Dj ikhan for spinning an amazing night and told the crowd that ikhan and him met—back in 1994 as turntablists—

He started out dj’ing in 1991 playing at various venues in Brampton and later throughout Toronto.  He has been passionate about music since he was 4 yrs old and still continues to grow his extensive vinyl collection.

Collaborating with the likes of Dj Christopher Michaels (His Mentor), Dave Campbell, Starting from Scratch, Dj Eric Ling, Dj Joe Marella and Russell Peters, all of who can attest to the energy ikhan brings to the party with his extensive music knowledge.
